About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support to Specialized Fiduciary Officers, Settlement Officers, Managers, and the National Trust Settlement Director
  • Work independently and closely with Officers and Managers to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of services
  • Coordinate information and activities with internal support partners and external business partners
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and external partners, including trust beneficiaries, as a backup for Settlement Officers
  • Perform account maintenance, money movement, client verification, optical imaging, file retrieval, and settlement packet preparation, mailing, and tracking
  • Process transactions and respond to verbal and written inquiries
  • Perform routine administrative tasks including filing, copying, ordering supplies, telephone calls, and routine correspondence
  • Participate in projects and conduct research
  • Prepare reports as needed
  • Manage smaller, less complex situations requiring less technical expertise
  • Provide backup support for Officers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Paralegal experience/training preferred
  • Prior trust, estate or tax experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritization is a necessity
  • Works well as an individual contributor and member of a team
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn and apply new technology and systems
  • Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • 1st shift availability
