About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as Team Lead and Subject Matter Expert for Single Process Inventory across Workplace Benefits
  • Lead Workplace Benefits Single Process Inventory and ensure adherence to Enterprise Standards
  • Build partnerships and collaborate with Workplace Benefits, Risk and Audit partners
  • Serve as Governance & Business Controls primary point of contact for the coverage area
  • Promote risk culture through identification, evaluation and mitigation of risk and remediation of control gaps
  • Coordinate audit issue remediation through action plans, controls and sustainability activities
  • Monitor audit issue validation progress and ensure deadlines are met
  • Create policies and procedures with business partners
  • Drive adherence to Enterprise Process & Policy through monitoring and maintaining the Single Process Inventory, controls and metrics
  • Prepare and deliver reporting on the process and control environment
  • Provide Exam, Assessment and Compliance Testing support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk and/or governance roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship management skills with ability to navigate complexities among senior management, control partners, operations and lines of business
  • Proven record of managing and timely completing multiple deliverables/initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Robust understanding of operational controls related to compliance and risk management
  • Ability to plan and execute tactical actions within prescribed timelines
  • Solid project management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Issues management experience preferred
