About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive centralized execution and oversight of GMO QA activities, including test design, execution, validation, and reporting
  • Support BAU through execution of in-house QA testing
  • Manage new and modified tests
  • Partner with EIT and FLU on test design, development, and migration to EIT
  • Manage end-to-end test results and liaise with FLU
  • Monitor and accept testing results
  • Investigate and rebut unacceptable results
  • Validate failed tests and ensure satisfactory resolution of valid failures
  • Interpret results data, create reports, and manage escalations
  • Conduct testing of new QA tests
  • Manage implementation of new tests and oversee their transition to EIT
  • Report testing results to FLU
  • Analyze testing results to identify trends, themes, and systemic issues
  • Provide governance and oversight of GMO EIT QA
  • Monitor and oversee EIT as a service provider
  • Define QA organizational approaches, test script standards, calculation methodologies, thresholds, change controls, and script reviews
  • Design tests, create test scripts, and capture testing documentation
  • Define and manage proactive QA test review and refresh processes
  • Explore and implement automated solutions to improve QA efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate / Post Graduate
  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Strong coordination skills across multiple GMO teams and enterprise stakeholders
  • Ability to self-start and adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Preferred experience with SharePoint, BI and Tableau reporting, risk data analysis, Alteryx/ETL workflows, advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of GMO processes and controls is desirable
  • Experience in a testing environment is preferred
  • Experience within a risk, regulatory compliance, or audit function is advantageous but not essential
  • 2 years of overall experience in the banking industry
  • Work timings: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST
