About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Global Regulatory Reporting team with daily and monthly data controls and reconciliations
Build and test SQL data controls and implement them through Alteryx
Perform daily/monthly production runs of data quality and data validation control checks for US reporting
Perform root-cause analysis of data gaps and drive remediation
Coordinate with upstream and downstream stakeholders to automate and remediate processes
Engage with Global Regulatory Reporting, product SMEs, and stakeholders on new requirements and validation processes
Partner with external and internal auditors on internal control programs
Reconcile general ledger balances with data sources to identify gaps and drive resolution
Align with business and technical stakeholders, provide data-control oversight, escalate and mitigate risks, and ensure regulatory/policy adherence
Design and develop data controls
Expand data quality, data validation, and analytical processes with business partners
Visualize data gaps using Tableau

Requirements

What you’ll need

BE/B Tech./MCA/MBA Finance or equivalent qualifications
0–3 years of techno-functional experience in the Finance/Banking domain
SQL experience
Alteryx experience
Tableau experience
Basic understanding of regulatory reporting
Intermediate/Basic SQL knowledge
Intermediate/Basic Alteryx/Tableau knowledge
Experience driving change processes, re-engineering, and automations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent issues and tasks
Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
Ability to excel and influence in a cross-functional team structure
Flexibility and good negotiation skills
Basic knowledge of UiPath/Python is desired
Flexible availability between 10:30 AM and 10:30 PM
