About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute assessments to review and validate source documents, data source elements and logic against specified business and/or data regulatory requirements
- Review, extract and document key data elements and logic from SQL or other code
- Align data elements with key business requirements
- Examine financial information and data attributes for fit-for-use and Business Requirements Document validation
- Assist with issue evaluation and remediation, including identification, monitoring and escalation of conformance or transaction-related non-adherence issues and observations
- Manage relationships across Finance, Data Management and other line-of-business support teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- CA/CPA, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance
- 1–2 years’ experience
- Exposure to US regulatory reports such as FRY-9C, FRY-14Q/M, FFIEC031, FRY-15, FFIEC 009 or EMEA regulatory reports such as COREP, FINREP and AnaCredit
- Experience analyzing SQL code by writing code to match business requirements or validating code against business requirements
- Advanced tool skills working with large data sets to identify anomalies
- Standard knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced Excel functions including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong communication skills to support partnerships across lines of business, finance and technology teams
- Prior experience in Audit, Financial Reporting or Finance Data Management Organizations is desired
- General comprehension of GAAP and regulatory reporting for large banks is ideal
