About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate and remediate failing trades
- Interact with internal and external teams to manage fails, breaks, and collateral
- Prioritize, investigate, and add commentary to fails and breaks
- Create managerial reports and workload statistics and provide value-added business analysis
- Identify workflow and system inefficiencies and propose improvements
- Share best practices with the team
- Build productive teams to meet or exceed operational targets and client SLAs
- Improve business processes and implement agreed changes in daily operations
- Act as a process subject matter expert
- Mentor, coach, and groom team members for higher responsibilities
- Encourage two-way team communication
- Liaise with lines of business to manage service delivery in line with SLAs
- Manage contingency planning and staffing flexibility during adverse conditions
- Support matching, settlements, fails management, reconciliation, and collateral management for EMEA Equities
- Support regulatory and audit requests and maintain activities according to SEC record and retention requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate/Postgraduate education
- 2–5 years of experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize daily workload and work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Effective written and spoken communication
- Good understanding of Global Capital Markets, especially Equities, Exchange Traded Funds, and Fixed Income products
- Knowledge of Trade Life Cycle
- Ability to handle issues and escalations independently
- Analytical thinking and logical reasoning
- Understanding of Project Management and Six Sigma concepts and tools
- Understanding of Business Continuity Management
- Experience handling monthly deliverables such as dashboards and risk matrices
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements
- Work timings: 13:30 PM to 22:30 AM IST
