About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and support enterprise Messaging and Collaboration infrastructure in a large-scale, multi-site, multi-domain environment
  • Support Outlook, SharePoint, WebEx, Instant Messaging, Lync/Skype, and Group Chat applications
  • Manage integration of email with mobile devices and unified communication technologies
  • Administer enterprise messaging and collaboration user accounts, including user IDs, name changes, moves, group lists, and terminated IDs
  • Lead resolution of complex technical issues as a subject matter expert
  • Consult with application developers on application impact issues
  • Coordinate with application developers and project managers to deploy worldwide enterprise solutions and applications, including testing and documentation
  • Provide technical expertise to internal IT groups and recommendations to management for service-level and environment optimization
  • Protect messaging environment security through access control lists, security measures, and external-organization certification
  • Provide training to users, junior technicians, and other IT personnel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical operations or enterprise support role
  • Proficiency with Outlook and M365 messaging technologies
  • Experience with SharePoint administration
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, OneDrive, MS Teams, Skype, and WebEx
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and operational best practices
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong process documentation and technical writing skills
  • Solid understanding of Windows OS, internet browsers, and Microsoft Office
  • Basic networking and troubleshooting knowledge
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
