About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and actively pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned portfolio of Business Banking clients in the Northeast region
  • Pursue client prospect opportunities outside the assigned portfolio
  • Partner with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Implementation Advisors, Service Partners, Card Managers, Liquidity Specialists, and other enterprise partners
  • Position U.S. and sometimes international treasury solutions suited to client needs
  • Maintain daily virtual interactions with client contacts
  • Lead pricing and negotiation discussions for treasury management products
  • Drive mobile, digital, and real-time payments adoption
  • Lead strategic dialogues around client-centric issues using best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solution positioning
  • Participate in the Client Management Process focused on client acquisition and relationship deepening
  • Manage implementation of all solutions from start to finish, ensuring a smooth client experience and speed to revenue
  • Drive revenue and product growth, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP responses, call preparation, and client-facing treasury presentations
  • Evaluate treasury solutions using client-focused cost/benefit and bank-focused profitability analyses
  • Maintain communication with Relationship Managers and core team members regarding client and product information
  • Maintain goal achievement and performance metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated success in a treasury or cash management capacity
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • Strong business/financial acumen to align to core Key Performance Indicators within clients’ treasury operations ecosystems
  • Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team and build sincere rapport with client contacts
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in an organized fashion while maintaining consistent client satisfaction
  • Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services and trends
  • Certified Treasury Professional certification or equivalent (desired)
  • B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree (desired)
  • Intrinsic motivation to continuously improve processes and/or one’s own education (desired)
  • Desire to mentor and sponsor other associates (desired)
  • Ability and willingness to adopt new technology, including AI (desired)
