About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and actively pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned portfolio of Global Commercial Banking clients in the Dealer Financial Services segment
- Pursue client prospect opportunities outside the portfolio with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Implementation Advisors, Service Partners, Card Managers, Liquidity Specialists, and other enterprise partners
- Position treasury solutions that best suit clients’ needs through daily virtual interactions with client contacts
- Lead pricing and negotiation discussions for treasury management products to optimize relationship profitability and year-over-year revenue growth
- Act as a digital ambassador driving mobile, digital, and real-time payments adoption
- Lead strategic dialogues around client-centric issues using best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solution positioning
- Participate in the Client Management Process focused on client acquisition and deepening existing relationships
- Manage implementation of all solutions from start to finish, ensuring a smooth client experience and speed to revenue
- Own revenue and product growth, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP responses, call preparations, and client-facing treasury presentations
- Evaluate treasury solutions through client-focused cost/benefit analysis and bank-focused profitability analysis
- Maintain communication with Relationship Managers and core team members regarding client information, treasury products, and industry knowledge
- Maintain goal achievement and performance metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of demonstrated success in a treasury or cash management capacity
- Strong business/financial acumen aligned to core Key Performance Indicators within clients’ treasury operations ecosystems
- Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team and build sincere rapport with client contacts
- Ability to manage competing priorities in an organized fashion while maintaining consistent client satisfaction
- Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends
- B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree (desired)
- Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) or equivalent (desired)
- Experience as a Treasury Sales Analyst or Associate working with, understanding, and influencing business clients (desired)
- Understanding of treasury software, tools, and banking services commonly utilized by auto dealers
- Experience in the auto dealer sector preferred
- Motivation to continuously improve processes and/or one’s own education
- Desire to mentor and sponsor other associates
- Ability and willingness to adopt new technology, including AI
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
