About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead product experts supporting Global Payments Services in client engagements, account management, complex and high-dollar deals, and emerging solution opportunities
- Manage and pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned portfolio of Commercial Banking entities
- Pursue client prospect opportunities outside the assigned portfolio when applicable
- Partner with Client Managers, Treasury Sales Analysts, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Global Investment Advisors, Card Managers, Trade/SCF Advisors, Liquidity Specialists, and other enterprise partners
- Provide US and sometimes international treasury solutions tailored to client needs
- Drive mobile, digital, and real-time payments adoption
- Lead strategic dialogues using best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solution positioning
- Drive revenue and product growth, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP/RFI responses, call preparations, and client-facing treasury presentations
- Evaluate treasury solutions through client-focused cost/benefit analysis and bank-focused profitability analysis
- Develop and deepen client relationships by identifying client needs
- Drive responsible revenue and balance-sheet growth and profitability improvement
- Develop customized treasury solutions with bankers and product specialists
- Lead pricing and negotiation discussions for treasury management products
- Coach and mentor Treasury Analysts and collaborate with Servicing and Implementation teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of Treasury Sales Officer experience
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time in a normal environment
- Successful track record in treasury management sales
- Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services and trends
- Proven business development and relationship management skills with complex clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Proven negotiation and active listening skills; strong executive presence
- Critical and strategic thinking and problem resolution skills
- Strong business/financial acumen
- Ability to maneuver through the enterprise, engage partners and escalate as needed
- Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high client satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and as a close team member in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively manage risk while balancing client, team, and bank needs
