About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead product experts supporting Global Transaction Services in client engagements and account management
  • Close complex and high-dollar deals and pursue emerging solution opportunities with strategic clients
  • Participate as product sales or industry expert in client calls
  • Identify opportunities, influence solutions, and drive collaboration across product, sales, and client relationship teams
  • Manage and pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across assigned portfolios
  • Pursue client prospect opportunities outside the assigned portfolio when applicable
  • Partner with Client Managers, Treasury Sales Analysts, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Global Investment Advisors, Card Managers, Trade/SCF Advisors, Liquidity Specialists, and other enterprise teams
  • Drive adoption of mobile, digital, and real-time payments
  • Lead strategic dialogues on client-centric issues using best practices, peer benchmarking, and industry analytics
  • Advise complex not-for-profit healthcare and private higher education companies as a working capital, financial technology, and trusted advisor
  • Engage C-suite executives and Revenue Cycle teams on healthcare, not-for-profit, and higher education issues
  • Lead industry speaking engagements and create client/prospect events
  • Advise on payments, receipts, liquidity, card solutions, revenue cycle solutions, and eCommerce strategies
  • Drive Solutions Per Relationship expansion
  • Own revenue and product growth, client calling, portfolio development, pricing, RFP/RFI responses, call preparation, and client-facing treasury presentations
  • Evaluate treasury solutions using client-focused cost/benefit and bank-focused profitability analyses
  • Lead pricing and negotiation discussions to optimize profitability and year-over-year growth
  • Coach and mentor Treasury Analysts
  • Work with Servicing and Implementation teams to support client needs and deliver solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of Treasury Sales Officer experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time in a normal environment
  • Successful track record in treasury management sales
  • Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends
  • Proven business development and relationship management skills with complex clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven negotiation and active listening skills; strong executive presence
  • Critical and strategic thinking and problem-resolution ability
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to maneuver through the enterprise, engage partners, and escalate as needed
  • Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining client satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and as a close team member in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage risk while balancing client, team, and bank needs
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Desired: For-profit, Not-For-Profit, Higher Education, or Healthcare banking / Revenue Cycle experience
  • Desired: 5+ years of banking experience
  • Desired: Prior card solution experience
  • Desired: B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate field
  • Desired: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification or equivalent
  • Desired: MBA or equivalent
