About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead product experts supporting Global Transaction Services in client engagements and account management
  • Close complex and high-dollar deals and pursue emerging solution opportunities with strategic clients
  • Participate as the product sales or industry expert in client calls
  • Identify opportunities and influence solutions addressing client challenges
  • Drive collaboration among product, sales, and client relationship teams
  • Manage and actively pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned Business Banking portfolio
  • Pursue client prospect opportunities outside the assigned portfolio when applicable
  • Partner with Client Managers, Treasury Sales Analysts, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Global Investment Advisors, Card Managers, Trade/SCF Advisors, Liquidity Specialists, and other enterprise partners
  • Drive adoption of mobile, digital, and real-time payments
  • Lead strategic client dialogues using best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solution positioning
  • Drive revenue and product growth, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP/RFI responses, call preparations, and client-facing treasury presentations
  • Evaluate treasury solutions using client-focused cost/benefit analysis and bank-focused profitability analysis
  • Develop new client relationships and deepen existing relationships by identifying client needs
  • Develop customized treasury solutions with bankers and product specialists
  • Lead pricing and negotiation discussions to optimize relationship profitability and year-over-year growth
  • Coach and mentor Treasury Analysts
  • Work with Servicing and Implementation teams to support client needs and deliver solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of Treasury Sales Officer experience
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time in a normal environment
  • Successful track record in treasury management sales
  • Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends
  • Proven business development and relationship management skills with complex clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven negotiation and active listening skills
  • Strong executive presence
  • Critical and strategic thinking and problem resolution skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to maneuver through the enterprise, engage partners, and escalate as needed
  • Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high client satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and as a close team member in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively manage risk while balancing client, team, and bank needs
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Desired: B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree
  • Desired: Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) or equivalent
  • Desired: MBA or equivalent
  • Desired: International Banking Experience
