About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead product experts supporting Global Transaction Services in client engagements, account management, complex and high-dollar deal closing, and emerging solution opportunities
- Participate as the product sales or industry expert in client calls
- Identify opportunities, influence solutions, and drive collaboration among product, sales, and client relationship teams
- Manage and actively pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned Business Banking portfolio
- Pursue client prospect opportunities outside the assigned portfolio when applicable
- Partner with Client Managers, Treasury Sales Analysts, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Global Investment Advisors, Card Managers, Trade/SCF Advisors, Liquidity Specialists, and other enterprise partners
- Drive mobile, digital, and real-time payments adoption as a digital ambassador
- Lead strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues using best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solution positioning
- Drive revenue and product growth, profitability, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP/RFI responses, call preparations, and client-facing treasury presentations
- Evaluate treasury solutions through client-focused cost/benefit analysis and bank-focused profitability analysis
- Develop new client relationships and deepen existing relationships by identifying client needs
- Ensure responsible revenue and balance-sheet growth and profitability improvement
- Develop customized treasury solutions with bankers and product specialists
- Lead pricing and negotiation discussions to optimize relationship profitability and year-over-year growth
- Coach and mentor Treasury Analysts
- Work with Servicing and Implementation teams to support client needs and deliver solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
- 5 years of Treasury Sales Officer experience
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time in a normal environment
- Successful track record in treasury management sales
- Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends
- Proven business development and relationship management skills with complex clients
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Proven negotiation and active listening skills
- Strong executive presence
- Critical and strategic thinking and problem-resolution abilities
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Ability to maneuver through the enterprise, engage partners, and escalate as needed
- Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and as a close team member in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively manage risk while balancing client, team, and bank needs
- Desired: B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree
- Desired: Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) or equivalent
- Desired: MBA or equivalent
- Desired: International Banking Experience
