About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead product experts supporting Global Transaction Services in client engagements, account management, complex and high-dollar deal closing, and emerging solution opportunities
  • Participate as the product sales or industry expert in client calls
  • Identify opportunities and influence solutions
  • Drive collaboration among product, sales, and client relationship teams
  • Manage and pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across assigned portfolios
  • Pursue client prospect opportunities outside the assigned portfolio when applicable
  • Partner with Client Managers, Treasury Sales Analysts, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Global Investment Advisors, Card Managers, Trade/SCF Advisors, Liquidity Specialists, and other enterprise teams
  • Drive adoption of mobile, digital, and real-time payments
  • Lead strategic dialogues using best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solution positioning
  • Advise complex not-for-profit healthcare and private higher education companies as a working capital, financial technology, and trusted advisor
  • Participate in and lead speaking engagements for industry organizations such as HFMA and NACUBO
  • Create client and prospect events centered on industry trends
  • Advise clients on payments, receipts, liquidity, card solutions, revenue cycle solutions, eCommerce, and digital strategies
  • Drive Solutions Per Relationship expansion
  • Own revenue and product growth, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP/RFI responses, call preparation, and client-facing treasury presentations
  • Evaluate treasury solutions using client-focused cost/benefit and bank-focused profitability analyses
  • Lead pricing and negotiation discussions to optimize relationship profitability and year-over-year growth
  • Coach and mentor Treasury Analysts
  • Work with Servicing and Implementation teams to support client needs and deliver solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of Treasury Sales Officer experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time in a normal environment
  • Successful track record in treasury management sales
  • Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends
  • Proven business development and relationship management skills with complex clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven negotiation and active listening skills
  • Strong executive presence
  • Critical and strategic thinking and problem resolution skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to maneuver through the enterprise, engage partners, and escalate as needed
  • Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and as a close team member in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively manage risk
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Preferred: For-profit, Not-For-Profit, Higher Education, or Healthcare banking/revenue cycle experience
  • Preferred: 5+ years of banking experience
  • Prior card solution experience is a plus
  • B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree is desired
  • Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) or equivalent is desired
  • MBA or equivalent is desired
