About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform tasks and procedures delegated by the collaborating Physician within scope of practice
Perform complete, detailed, and accurate patient histories
Review patient records and develop comprehensive medical status reports
Complete physical examinations
Make diagnoses and institute therapy, including drug therapy
Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment
Arrange hospital admissions and discharges at the direction of the collaborating Physician
Complete hospital rounds as required
Provide instructions and guidance regarding medical care to patients
Perform additional duties within the scope of the role

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master of Science in Nursing degree required
Minimum 2 years of related nursing experience required
Active Nurse Practitioner license required
Active Nurse Practitioner license through American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) required
BLS certification required
Knowledge of basic Windows based PC operations
Excellent organizational skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations
Ability to work from broad directions and be self-motivated
Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency
Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization
Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guests, visitors, and patients
Ability to sit for 20% and maintain mobility for 80% of the workday
Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds
