Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associates of Science in Nursing Required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
  • IV Team Experience
  • Oncology Infusion Experience
  • Ability to perform venipuncture, IV catheter insertion, and PICC line care
  • Ability to calculate and administer IV medications
  • Ability to recognize signs of distress or reaction to medications
  • Ability to identify abnormal labs based on patients' drugs and co-morbidities
  • Ability to obtain vital signs
