About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement programmes and initiatives supporting the growth and development of bank employees and leaders
  • Create and execute training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to analyse current and future organisational development needs
  • Design and deliver classroom- and digital-based training content, programmes, and associated user experiences
  • Manage onboarding programmes, including training, materials, introduction meetings, and ongoing support
  • Analyse data and metrics to measure talent development programme success
  • Develop and implement coaching, mentoring, and train-the-trainer programmes and educational materials
  • Develop and implement talent pipelining, succession management, and career progression processes
  • Oversee creation of learning content and training modules
  • Identify learning needs, recommend learning solutions, and design engaging digital and blended learning experiences
  • Advise and influence decision-making and contribute to policy development
  • Lead complex assignments or teams, set objectives, coach employees, and appraise performance where applicable
  • Consult on complex issues and advise People Leaders on escalated issues
  • Mitigate risk and strengthen controls through policies and procedures
  • Analyse complex data from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems
  • Communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record of working in Learning & Development space
  • Strong grasp of learning frameworks and concepts
  • Proficiency in tools for e-Learning design and delivery, e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Learning Lab or equivalent e-learning authoring tool, and Workday
  • Proven experience in end-to-end project management
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Background in financial service industry learning and development (desirable)
  • Passion for providing excellent and engaging user experience and learning journeys (desirable)
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into engaging and effective learning solutions (desirable)
  • Ability to leverage AI to empower planning and decision-making (desirable)
  • May be assessed on risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills
