Build, deliver, and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions
Identify appropriate technologies and solutions for business, optimization, and resourcing requirements
Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to identify, address, and resolve issues, vulnerabilities, and outages
Use data to reduce mean time to resolution
Develop and implement automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Implement secure configurations and measures to protect infrastructure, hardware, software, and data
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, and engineers to define infrastructure requirements and devise solutions
Ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives
Stay informed about industry technology trends and contribute to technology communities
Deliver a secure, resilient, and high-performing virtual desktop experience
Support operational excellence, automation, platform stability, and Barclays' digital transformation targets
Resolve sophisticated enterprise-scale problems and contribute to continuous improvement
Manage risk, strengthen controls, and ensure compliance with relevant rules, regulations, and codes of conduct
Partner with other functions and business areas and advise stakeholders on technical decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Citrix technologies, including Citrix Cloud, CVAD, and Gateway
Background in Windows Server, Windows 11 Multi-Session, Active Directory, Group Policy (GPOs), DNS, certificates, and VDI profile management
Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve platform reliability, availability, scalability, and performance
Experience using monitoring, alerting, and telemetry tools such as Citrix Director, Citrix Analytics, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Splunk, Observe, and related platforms
Experience working within ITIL-aligned enterprise environments
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise
Thorough understanding of underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise
Ability to perform activities timely and to a high standard
Ability to assess risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills
