About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow the product development process and deliver high-quality documents
- Propose effective technical solutions based on customer requirements
- Estimate project costs
- Work closely with project team members
- Collaborate with teams worldwide for the healthcare business
- Serve as the R&D interface for cross-functional teams inside and outside Barco
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in a related field, or Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience in a related field
- Preferred major in Electronics, system engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device design
- Good knowledge of medical display is a plus
- Experience collaborating with global teams on complex product development
- Familiarity with new product development processes
- Familiarity with ISO13485 and IEC60601 and experience implementing them
- Familiarity with DHF and DMR files and experience with them
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good English skills in writing and speaking
- Proactive, self-starter, energizing, results-oriented and able to multitask
- Good communication skills
