About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for HRIS questions, troubleshooting, and user support
  • Partner with HR, compensation and benefits, Information Systems, and vendors to resolve issues and support system users
  • Maintain, audit, and improve HR data quality
  • Prepare and update performance metric reports and dashboards
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests
  • Support reliable HR reporting practices
  • Assist with building, configuring, and maintaining HRIS functionality within Workday
  • Support system enhancements that improve usability, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Test upgrades, releases, and system changes with Information Systems staff
  • Support validation activities and document results, issues, and follow-up actions
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Create and maintain process documentation, procedures, and reference materials
  • Serve as part of the compensation and benefits group and Barr’s corporate Human Resources team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience
  • One or more years of relevant experience using reporting and querying functions in an HRIS system
  • Experience maintaining and auditing data quality
  • Experience applying technical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience identifying and recommending process improvements
  • Strong client service skills, including the ability to understand, educate, and build relationships with internal clients and vendors
  • Experience with Workday
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future
