About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as an Information Assurance (IA) Subject Matter Expert regarding IA architecture policies and procedures
  • Provide IA management support to DLA Information Operations and PEO Program Management Offices for emerging information systems through the acquisition lifecycle and, where applicable, into sustainment
  • Provide technical support and guidance to identify and integrate IA controls at the beginning of the acquisition lifecycle for emerging IT capabilities
  • Serve as a principal liaison for enterprise-level boundary defense initiatives
  • Ensure consistent and sufficient identification and implementation of applicable IA controls with the DLA IA and IT architecture
  • Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise-level IA solutions
  • Provide standards for access-control capabilities across the enterprise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience, including Certification and Accreditation (C&A) experience
  • Ten (10) years of practical industry, government and/or consulting experience in information technology management
  • IT project management experience using various Microsoft tools
  • Knowledge and experience managing information technology services and strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Required DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM level III
  • Required Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
  • Active Secret clearance, adjudicated within the last five (5) years
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and email
  • Ability to occasionally move about the office and lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work the assigned schedule with regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required
