About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Human Resources Management (HRM) Applications Information Technology (IT) Sustainment Support effort
  • Formulate and define specifications for complex operating software programming applications
  • Modify and maintain complex applications
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document programs
  • Perform operating system maintenance
  • Support software systems programming
  • Evaluate software products
  • Periodically support meetings at HQ DLA in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, or other locations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Experience with federal Human Resources IT systems
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • One Computing Environment certification/credential: CompTIA Linux+, Red Hat System Administrator I (RH SA I), Oracle Certified Professional – Database (OCP DB), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (MC: Azure AA), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (MC: Azure SEA)
  • Active Secret clearance, adjudicated within the last five (5) years
