About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide specialized expertise within multiple systems and software disciplines under minimal direction
- Perform in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products
- Resolve complex problems involving design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support
- Assist in planning and conversion for new hardware/software products
- Maintain, debug, and configure related software products
- Provide operating systems planning and evaluation for performance analysis, capacity planning, and hardware upgrades
- Develop or modify operating systems applications from specifications
- Assist with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and program documentation
- Interface with system support groups to resolve problems, set standards, and improve operating-system efficiency
- Prepare product documentation
- Interface with customers to gather system requirements or problem information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Eight (8) years of experience in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology
- Active Secret clearance, adjudicated within the last five (5) years
- Availability to periodically support meetings at DLA Susquehanna (New Cumberland, PA) or other places of performance in the New Cumberland, PA area
