About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the architecture of the OpenText-based Enterprise Information Management (EIM) platform and its integrations
  • Support sustainment and modernization of DHA’s EIM platform hosted in AWS GovCloud
  • Provide expertise in ECM/BPM products, including AppWorks and Content Server, and their production and non-production integrations
  • Integrate APIs and COTS solutions with partner systems across the enterprise
  • Architect and design interfaces and integrations with DEERS, VA, and Defense Health data exchanges
  • Migrate interfaces to MuleSoft
  • Design the DMACS Salesforce and OpenText integration
  • Develop and maintain solution architecture products aligned with DoDAF 2.0 and MHS Enterprise Architecture viewpoints
  • Lead technology modernization, including license integration, workflow refactoring for AWS GovCloud services, interface migration, and decommissioning
  • Support security design and configuration, RMF controls, and ATO activities
  • Support high availability, failover, and continuity of operations strategies
  • Provide technical leadership and supervision to engineering staff
  • Support Military Health System application workflows for service members, veterans, and their families

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with automated enterprise content management systems
  • Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification required at contract start
  • Demonstrated experience architecting and designing large DoD systems that integrate multiple software components
  • Demonstrated technical management and supervisory experience
  • Experience integrating APIs and COTS products with partner systems
  • Must be able to reach the Government site in Falls Church, VA within two hours
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated background investigation for an ADP/IT-I or ADP/IT-II position designation (Tier 5 or Tier 3)
  • Must obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must complete DoD/DHA-required HIPAA and Privacy Act training
  • Must sign a DHA Non-Disclosure Agreement before starting work
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and email
  • Ability to occasionally move about the office and lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work the assigned schedule with regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required
