Key responsibilities & impact

Develop efficient sourcing and category management strategies
Maintain existing business and grow new business relationships
Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking for stakeholder review and consultation
Implement best-practice negotiation strategies and secure cost-effective, mutually beneficial, profitable partnerships
Research shifts in service-provider negotiating power and provide mitigation steps and plans
Maintain professional and fair vendor/supplier relationships while promoting company initiatives, values, and objectives
Monitor and advise on organizational risks and opportunities
Evaluate supplier performance through data compilation and regular supplier review and feedback sessions
Conduct procurement activities according to global and regional processes and policies
Manage accurate and timely functional and business reporting against procurement performance metrics
Ensure transparency, accuracy, and consistency of purchasing data in information systems
Work closely with the United States team through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and company software

Requirements

What you’ll need

Candidates must be from Hyderabad
Willingness and flexibility to work the night PST shift and/or weekends
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, high productivity, and critical thinking
In-depth experience managing end-to-end IT Procurement across Software, Hardware, Cloud, Outsourcing, and other subcategories, with a focus on Telecoms
Experience in a telecommunications procurement environment
Experience with e-procurement and supply chain systems
Strong commercial skills and ability to build long-term relationships with business stakeholders and key suppliers
Experience working within a technology/telecommunications business supply chain, specializing in strategic partnership agreements
Familiarity with Framework/Master Services Agreements
Procurement technical skills including negotiation, contract drafting, relevant RfPs, and category management techniques
Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills
Proficient in all Microsoft Applications, especially MS Excel
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
