About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end IT procurement for US and Canada clients across software, hardware, cloud, telecom, and outsourcing categories
- Develop and execute category management strategies for IT spend
- Run cost and scenario analyses, benchmark pricing, and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Lead negotiations on Master Services Agreements, Framework Agreements, and RFPs
- Manage vendor performance through scorecards, review cadences, and corrective action plans
- Maintain accurate procurement data and reporting in e-procurement and PSA tools
- Identify supply-chain risks and opportunities and propose mitigation or value-capture plans
- Partner with finance and operations on budgeting, forecasting, and contract compliance
- Ensure purchasing activity follows global and regional policies and audit requirements
- Work directly with US colleagues and clients via Teams, phone, ticketing, and CRM tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of experience in end-to-end IT procurement across multiple subcategories
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications procurement
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with e-procurement and supply-chain management systems
- 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating Master Services Agreements, Framework Agreements, and RFPs
- 5+ years of experience applying category management techniques to build category plans
- Proven track record of managing vendor relationships and delivering measurable cost savings
- Strong written and spoken English
- Experience working with MSPs, SaaS companies, or IT-services firms (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin center, Entra ID, and RMM/PSA platforms (nice to have)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar finance systems for procurement reconciliation (nice to have)
- Certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent procurement credentials (nice to have)
