About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design roadway, underground utility, and infrastructure improvements using Bentley OpenRoads Designer
- Conduct drainage, traffic, and various engineering studies
- Complete general civil engineering services for municipal, county, and state clients
- Complete engineering plans and specifications using FDOT Standards
- Assist project engineers and managers with tasks required for project delivery
- Collaborate with Baxter & Woodman’s diverse disciplines and offices
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- Relevant internship/co-op experience with municipal or highway agency transportation projects
- Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman’s service area with own transportation
- Ability to independently handle a variety of ongoing tasks and responsibilities
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills
- Ability to work within a team-first culture
- Anticipated F.E. (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification preferred
- Knowledge of designing roadway and underground improvements with Civil3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer preferred
- Experience with Geopak preferred
