About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a Regional Supervisor for a cohort of Fellows and Host Partners
  • Provide ongoing support to Fellows and Site Supervisors
  • Conduct monthly virtual check-ins and bi-annual in-person visits
  • Support Fellow professional development
  • Facilitate and plan member development training days, community building, and celebrations
  • Act as a primary program liaison across multiple Host Partner sites
  • Own and manage fellowship timecard approval and reporting for 400+ Fellows
  • Review, track, and resolve timecard issues
  • Manage fellowship reimbursements and coordinate timely processing
  • Organize, prepare, and submit financial reports
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for 400+ Fellows annually
  • Improve administrative systems and processes
  • Support program audits by maintaining records, gathering documentation, and responding to requests
  • Collect member evaluation and metrics reporting documentation
  • Oversee and approve AmeriCorps timesheets and track AmeriCorps hours
  • Support Fellow post-fellowship transition

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • California-based required; preference for Sacramento, Fresno, and Stockton areas
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in program or operations administration, finance/financial administration/grant administration, compliance/reporting/audit support, onboarding/human resources support, stakeholder/partnership coordination, or nonprofit/AmeriCorps/service-oriented programs
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter able to own complex processes, manage high-volume work and competing priorities, and maintain accuracy across multiple systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong remote-work skills, including proactive communication, accountability, and responsiveness
  • Experience with project management, reporting, Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite, or ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience with sustainability, environmental, or AmeriCorps programs and familiarity with California environmental policy is a plus
