About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide domestic and international environmental due diligence services
  • Manage projects, budgets, and schedules as technical lead and/or client contact
  • Schedule personnel and allocate resources
  • Review invoices and manage accounts receivable
  • Write proposals and develop scopes of work and budgets
  • Interact with clients across a wide variety of industries
  • Manage and train junior staff in project scoping and execution
  • Develop strategy and tactics with practice leadership and senior leadership to grow BBJ Group’s national presence
  • Manage projects involving environmental site assessments, EHS compliance reviews, permitting, building material surveys, property condition assessments, site investigations, regulatory closure, vapor intrusion, CERCLA/PRP liability assessments, legacy environmental liabilities, NEPA evaluations, and environmental cost estimation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expert level experience conducting and directing site investigations, regulatory reporting, or ESG related activities
  • Experience with site closure activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to accommodate travel
  • Professional Certification (PE/PG/CHMM/CSP) a plus
  • AutoCAD and ArcGIS experience a plus
  • OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to work as a low-ego, high-impact teammate
  • Able to operate self-sufficiently, seek help when needed, and solve problems
  • Able to work in fast-paced and changing environments
  • Able to balance internal obligations and external client needs
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and contributing new ideas
