About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set, prioritize, and manage strategic objectives and assist with deliverables across clinical development, clinical operations, CMC, finance, and strategy
Coordinate team meetings, delegate to technical experts, and ensure optimal team function
Interpret, collate, and communicate key data findings succinctly to senior management
Engage with external partners on business development initiatives
Own the NPV model and execute strategic analyses to inform program direction
Conduct competitive intelligence initiatives and synthesize competitor data to inform clinical development and strategic positioning
Identify problems, locate resources, and find data-driven solutions independently
Own and shape scientific, operational, and cross-functional operations, including scientific and clinical plans, strategy, and operational execution
Manage timelines and industry relationships
Facilitate optimal functioning of cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

MD or PhD from top-tier academic institutions or commensurate work experience
Operating/program management experience working with a close-knit team at a biotech startup or top tier pharma
Management consulting or banking experience from top tier firm
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to think strategically and execute effectively
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners
Creative 'out of the box' thinking to solve complex technical problems and champion innovative technologies to achieve project goals
Commitment, drive, and ownership mindset
Strong scientific and/or clinical background
Demonstrated excellence at managing diverse stakeholders, including senior-level stakeholders
