About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Produce construction drawings for a variety of projects
  • Collaborate with project managers in preparing technical documentation
  • Actively contribute to projects carried out by multidisciplinary teams
  • Prepare budget estimates for construction costs
  • Participate in construction monitoring and ensure compliance with plans and specifications as part of site supervision activities
  • Maintain effective and professional communication with all stakeholders
  • Provide technical design for landscape architecture projects and oversee construction progress

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 2 years of experience combined with a diploma in Architectural Technology
  • Student or licensed member of AAPQ (an asset; opportunity to become a member)
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
  • Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in SketchUp (an asset)
  • ASP certification cards (an asset)
  • Experience in construction site supervision (an asset)
  • Technical knowledge of developing plans and specifications
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and well organized
  • Comfortable working as part of a team
  • A constant desire to learn
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
