About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the enterprise and solution architecture function, including team, priorities, standards, methods, and governance
  • Develop architecture principles, reference architectures, roadmaps, and standards aligned with business priorities and technology investments
  • Lead and oversee solution design and architecture reviews
  • Guide architecture decisions across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, cloud, security, and emerging technology domains
  • Partner with business, delivery, operations, vendors, and Data, AI, and Cyber Security architects
  • Identify modernization, reuse, rationalization, and technical debt reduction opportunities
  • Coach and develop architects
  • Manage demand and capacity
  • Communicate architecture decisions to senior leaders and delivery teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
  • At least 8 years of progressive enterprise technology experience, including enterprise and solution architecture in a large, complex organization
  • Experience leading architects or senior technical professionals and building an effective architecture practice
  • Broad knowledge of cloud platforms, application, integration and messaging architectures, identity and access management, infrastructure and networking, security architecture, data management and integration, AI and emerging technologies, and modern software delivery practices
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry, enterprise integration and messaging platforms, event-driven architectures, API management solutions, and related cloud and data services
  • Strong business judgment, strategic thinking, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder influence
  • Relevant architecture and technology certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, ITIL, or equivalent are considered an asset
