About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work full-time in BDO’s High School Leavers Program
Undertake online study with CA ANZ toward a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting
Complete CA Fundamentals in the first year and CA Foundations in the second year
Progress toward the CA Program and becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant
Contribute to real client work
Learn from experienced professionals through on-the-job training and mentoring
Work in Audit, Business Services or CFO Advisory depending on location and available positions
Balance work and learning with paid study time
Select a preferred location during the application process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be 18 years of age or older when the program starts
Must have completed high school within the past three years (2024 onwards)
Must have completed a Year 12 Mathematics subject
Strong interest in accounting, business, or commerce
Curious, reliable and keen to learn in a professional environment
Enjoy working with others and being part of a team
Strong communication and time management skills
Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have the full right to work in Australia
Must upload most recent high school results, resume and a one-page cover letter
