About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development, maintenance and implementation of quality frameworks, methodologies, policies, guidance and tools supporting audit engagements
  • Execute and contribute to methodology projects and initiatives, taking ownership of assigned workstreams and deliverables
  • Monitor changes to professional standards, regulatory requirements and industry practices and assess their implications for audit methodologies
  • Develop practical templates, guidance materials and resources that promote consistency, scalability and compliance across audit engagements
  • Assist in technical consultations on audit methodology matters and provide guidance on complex engagement issues
  • Engage with service lines and Learning & Development teams to identify audit capability gaps and quality risks
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the firm's audit capabilities and reputation
  • Work closely with engagement teams and the Audit & Assurance Quality function across audit and assurance quality activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong background in external audit gained from a reputable professional services firm
  • Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing and Assurance
  • CA Qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in audit quality initiatives and activities, including the design and production of resources, and the design and facilitation of learning sessions
  • Strong technical judgement
  • Project management capability
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining a focus on audit quality and user experience
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively
  • Independent thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
