About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing and feedback analysis
  • Identify user needs, pain points and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain user personas, journey maps and experience artefacts
  • Use UX audits, feedback and behavioural insights to identify improvement opportunities
  • Translate insights into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and experience concepts
  • Improve content, navigation, onboarding resources and support experiences across Global Portal
  • Enhance information architecture to improve usability and content discoverability
  • Partner with product, technology and business stakeholders to deliver user-centred solutions
  • Analyse user feedback and behavioural data to inform continuous improvement
  • Champion accessibility, usability and best-practice UX and content design principles
  • Contribute Australian user insights to local and global platform initiatives
  • Help shape and enhance Global Portal, BDO's secure client collaboration platform

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in UX Design, Content Design, Service Design, Digital Experience or a similar role
  • Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows or journey maps
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
  • A practical, evidence-based approach to problem solving
  • Experience working collaboratively across product, technology and business teams
  • Qualifications in UX Design, Human-Centred Design, Service Design, Digital Design or a related discipline are ideally held
  • Experience improving client-facing or enterprise digital platforms
  • Experience using Figma is highly regarded but not essential
  • Experience with content design, information architecture or digital support experiences
  • Experience optimising SharePoint-based help centres, hubs, onboarding resources or digital support experiences is highly regarded but not essential
