About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise multinational corporations on international corporate tax planning and cross-border transactions.
- Support clients with international expansions, restructurings, financings, refinancings, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Manage or contribute to corporate tax compliance, reporting, and advisory projects.
- Prepare clients for evolving global tax developments, including Pillar Two and other international tax initiatives.
- Research complex international tax issues and provide commercially focused recommendations.
- Collaborate with BDO member firms across the global network to deliver cross-border solutions.
- Liaise with clients and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions to coordinate international tax projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across a broad range of industries.
- Support, mentor, and develop junior team members while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with corporate and international tax within a professional services environment.
- Experience advising multinational companies and internationally focused businesses.
- Experience with cross-border structuring, international tax planning, and group reorganisations.
- Experience with corporation tax compliance and reporting.
- Experience supporting international expansions, restructurings, financings, refinancings, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality technical advice.
- Experience leading teams and developing junior tax professionals at Assistant Manager level and above.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across international networks and service lines.
- Part-qualified or qualified CTA / AITI, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications.
