About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the timely delivery of accounting and consultancy services for clients
- Work independently and take ownership of specific client projects
- Operate as a trusted extension of clients’ finance teams
- Analyse client data and make informed recommendations
- Discuss clients’ current trading position, future outlook, and legislative changes
- Manage own tasks proactively
- Collaborate with senior managers, Directors, Partners, and other colleagues
- Identify opportunities to enhance delivery and provide additional client services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience
- Solid accounting knowledge
- Previous experience within accounts preparation and outsourced accounting
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Good knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, company secretarial procedures and applications
- Competent in Microsoft Office and standard in-house packages
- Ability to work proactively and manage own tasks
- Confidence collaborating with others and communicating with senior managers, Directors, and Partners
- Broad commercial awareness
- Ability to analyse client data and make informed recommendations
