About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the timely delivery of accounting and consultancy services for clients
  • Work independently and take ownership of specific client projects
  • Operate as a trusted extension of clients’ finance teams
  • Analyse client data and make informed recommendations
  • Discuss clients’ current trading position, future outlook, and legislative changes
  • Manage own tasks proactively
  • Collaborate with senior managers, Directors, Partners, and other colleagues
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and provide additional client services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience
  • Solid accounting knowledge
  • Previous experience within accounts preparation and outsourced accounting
  • Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Good knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, company secretarial procedures and applications
  • Ability to work proactively and manage own tasks
  • Confidence collaborating with others and communicating with senior managers, Directors, and Partners
  • Ability to analyse client data, make informed recommendations, and discuss key issues confidently with clients
  • Broad commercial awareness
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of specific client projects
