About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with clients as a Consultant within Strategic Resource Solutions (SRS), part of the Business Services Outsourcing team
  • Support clients in the timely delivery of accounting and consultancy services
  • Independently deliver and remain accountable for certain client projects as part of the client’s finance team
  • Analyse client data and make recommendations
  • Advise clients credibly on current trading position, future outlook, and legislative changes
  • Communicate with senior managers, Directors, and Partners to serve clients effectively
  • Identify opportunities to enhance delivery and provide additional client services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience
  • Solid accounting knowledge with previous experience within accounts preparation and outsourced accounting
  • Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Good knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, company secretarial procedures and applications
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and standard in-house packages
  • Ability to work proactively and manage own tasks
  • Confidence collaborating with others and communicating with senior managers, Directors, and Partners
