About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with clients and support the timely delivery of accounting and consultancy services
  • Independently deliver and remain accountable for certain client projects as if a permanent member of the client’s finance team
  • Apply accounting capabilities and rounded business knowledge to client engagements
  • Analyse client data and make recommendations
  • Discuss clients’ current trading position, future outlook, and legislative changes credibly
  • Manage own tasks and collaborate with senior managers, Directors, Partners, and other colleagues
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and provide additional client services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience
  • Solid accounting knowledge
  • Previous experience within accounts preparation and outsourced accounting
  • Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Good knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, company secretarial procedures and applications
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Competent in all standard in-house packages
  • Ability to work proactively and manage own tasks
  • Confidence collaborating with others and communicating with senior managers, Directors, and Partners
