About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute manual and automated test cases according to established test plans and procedures
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing
  • Document test execution results, defects, and corrective actions
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and reviewing test scripts, test cases, and testing documentation
  • Track and report software defects using approved test management and defect tracking tools
  • Collaborate with Test Engineers, developers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve identified issues
  • Verify defect fixes and support user acceptance testing
  • Maintain testing artifacts and contribute to quality assurance reporting
  • Ensure compliance with project standards, quality requirements, and documentation guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test execution activities
  • Experience performing regression testing and validating software functionality
  • Experience using test management and defect tracking tools
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to execute test cases and accurately document results
  • Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance
