About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end architecture of a defined portfolio of AI assets
Lead architecture from initial design through production and ongoing evolution
Design multi-agent systems, including orchestration, memory, knowledge containers, tool calling and agent collaboration
Define architecture roadmaps, decision records, reference architectures and reusable frameworks
Lead solution design using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot where relevant
Define patterns for RAG, enterprise search, prompt orchestration, human-in-the-loop workflows, connectors and MCP-based tool integration
Establish evaluation, observability and cost-control approaches for LLM and agent workloads
Translate business needs into scalable enterprise solutions and define integrations with SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, ERP, CRM and custom APIs
Architect hosting and operations on Azure, including compute, networking, identity, secrets, monitoring, scaling and cost
Define infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, environment separation and operational handover standards
Participate in the Agent Lab architecture board and conduct peer design reviews
Ensure security, EU AI Act, GDPR, data-residency and enterprise compliance requirements throughout the solution lifecycle
Conduct threat modelling and security design reviews for AI-specific risks
Apply least-privilege access, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, data classification and auditable agent-action logging
Maintain audit evidence including architecture decisions, risk assessments, test results and sign-offs
Lead developers and consultants day-to-day by assigning work, prioritising tasks, providing technical direction and removing blockers
Plan delivery, track progress, manage risks and report to stakeholders, clients and Agent Lab management
Support presales through solution shaping, estimates, client workshops and executive conversations
Mentor team members and build capability through pairing and knowledge sharing
Identify reusable components, productize assets, define roadmaps and take proofs of concept to enterprise scale

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years in solution or enterprise architecture
3+ years designing and delivering Generative AI solutions
At least one enterprise-grade AI platform in production
Experience leading a team of developers, including planning, deadline delivery and owning solutions through production
Comfortable working in a peer group of architects and participating in design reviews
Direct work with executive stakeholders and clients
Deep knowledge of Microsoft cloud and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Working knowledge of the EU AI Act, GDPR and enterprise security requirements applied in real client projects
Proven experience working with IT, Security, Legal and Compliance teams in regulated or security-sensitive environments
Understanding of enterprise AI data, identity, integration and operational risks
Hands-on ability to prototype, review code and challenge implementation choices
