About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions
Own day-to-day technical delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes using best-practice development
Develop scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Salesforce configuration
Build, configure, and support automated Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and routes to production
Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and aligned with platform and regulatory best practices
Improve the reliability, quality, and maintainability of Salesforce solutions across client enterprises
Produce detailed technical designs and build working demos and prototypes
Support solution validation throughout delivery
Work closely with Technical Architects and contribute to solution implementation
Support Technical Architects in embedding best practices across delivery teams and Salesforce communities of practice
Coach and develop engineering capability within the Salesforce team
Contribute to technical standards, frameworks, coding standards, architectural patterns, and ways of working
Stay current with Salesforce platform evolution
Monitor, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve issues across Salesforce environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on development experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, including triggers, asynchronous processing, and integrations
Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps
Hands-on experience with Git-based version control and branching models
Awareness of Salesforce security principles, secure-by-design implementation, data protection, and access control
Ability to provide technical leadership across Salesforce integrations with multiple legacy systems
Proven ability to drive technical strategy and resolve integration challenges
Ability to implement monitoring, logging, and proactive issue resolution across Salesforce environments
Strong experience working and leading within an agile development methodology
Ability to customise and optimise user experience and manage profiles, permissions, and sharing models
Strong entrepreneurial, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience in Industry Clouds such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Social Housing, or Retail is highly desirable
Experience or certifications with Experience Cloud, FSL, Agentforce, Data 360, or middleware is highly desirable
