About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support public-sector clients in introducing and using innovative technologies in infrastructure, security, and digitalization projects
- Analyze potential applications for drone systems and other innovative technologies
- Assess their value for use cases such as inspection, surveying, documentation, situational awareness, monitoring, and counter-drone operations
- Develop operations, maintenance, and deployment concepts that address technical, organizational, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate requirements among authorities, operators, users, technology providers, and other project stakeholders
- Support the integration of new technologies into existing processes and structures
- Contribute to decision papers, tender documents, market analyses, and technology assessments
- Support projects across various lifecycle phases
- Assist with quality, risk, and project management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, robotics, computer science, or a comparable field
- Interest in drone technology, innovative technologies, and public-sector projects
- Practical experience with drone systems, technical deployment concepts, maintenance, sensor technology, inspection, or comparable technology-related fields
- For the Senior Consultant role: several years of relevant professional experience
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and project stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of regulatory, operational, or security-related requirements for the use of drones and other innovative technologies is an advantage
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Excellent German and English language skills
