About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive strong execution across the District and lead the team with a focus on delivering profitable sales
  • Hold the District accountable to high-quality service
  • Secure optimal placement of displays with retail partners
  • Build strong relationships with partner store staff
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels across the District
  • Report directly to a Regional Manager
  • Supervise 15–20 Mobile Merchandisers and 1–2 District Mobile Merchandisers
  • Oversee operational processes, visual merchandising standards and overall service experience across multiple points of sale
  • Achieve positive results against sales, cost, operational and talent objectives
  • Identify challenges and develop action plans to reach District sales goals
  • Analyze controllable costs and financial and operational District KPIs
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels using established processes, systems and tools
  • Plan services cost-efficiently to drive sales and optimize resources
  • Analyze weekly sales data to plan schedules
  • Plan, monitor and adjust weekly team schedules
  • Maintain and adjust District staffing requirements
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners, customers and store leadership
  • Provide market intelligence regarding trends, issues and concerns
  • Negotiate and secure optimal beeline locations at each point of sale
  • Lead the team through communication, feedback and performance management while ensuring compliance with procedures and SOPs
  • Recruit, onboard and train team members
  • Conduct performance evaluations
  • Execute a workforce recruitment/succession plan and ensure a fully trained direct-report team within the first 90 days

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ideal candidate will reside in British Columbia in the Vancouver Area
  • Experience managing a remote team that utilizes technology to execute primary job duties
  • Experience managing and developing all district support roles/teams
  • Experience working in an environment with moderate to heavy travel requirements
  • Demonstrated proficiency using a process-driven and regimented approach to deliver operational, administrative and talent objectives
  • Demonstrated experience working in client-facing environment(s) with multiple and simultaneous customer/partners
  • Moderate proficiency of Company provided device
  • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to recruit, onboard and train new team members
  • Ability to conduct performance evaluations
  • Ability to manage remote teams through consistent communication and reference tools
