Define and drive the vision and strategy for telemetry systems during game production
Enable advanced player behaviour analysis and foster innovation
Anticipate high-level analytical challenges and design innovative, scalable solutions for strategic decision-making
Prototype advanced analytical outputs and set best practices for dashboards, reports, and data storytelling
Promote a data-informed studio culture through impactful storytelling and clear, well-documented analyses
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
Align perspectives and foster collaboration on strategic initiatives
Work across teams to solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems while balancing experimentation, analytical rigor, velocity, accuracy, and quality
Shape long-term data strategy and deliver actionable insights influencing product and business decisions
Mentor other analysts and set standards for analytical excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 12 years of experience in data analysis
Proven experience in the gaming industry working on a GaaS (Game as a Service) game
Deep expertise in advanced analytics and statistical modeling or equivalent approaches
Excellent database manipulation skills, including complex processing of large datasets using SQL and NoSQL technologies
Solid programming experience with Python and/or R for analysis, modeling, and advanced reporting
Excellent data visualization skills using Power BI (asset), Tableau, Excel, and other visualization tools
Experience with data hosting and transformation tools such as Snowflake and DBT; AWS considered an asset
High level of autonomy, strong organizational skills, and effective communication
Ability to clearly convey analytical insights
Equivalent experience may be considered
