About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, test, and maintain deployment packages for software, drivers, and configurations across the desktop environment.
  • Own the Microsoft Intune environment, including device provisioning, compliance policies, application deployment, and reporting.
  • Build scripts and lightweight tools to automate desktop support workflows such as onboarding, patching, and software updates.
  • Identify friction in support workflows and co-develop fixes with IT technicians to improve speed and reliability.
  • Document deployments and automation procedures and provide hands-on training to drive tool adoption.
  • Maintain alignment with security and compliance requirements and evaluate the Microsoft endpoint ecosystem for future adoption.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in desktop support, endpoint management, or IT operations.
  • Strong hands-on Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager administration including compliance policies, application creation/deployment, provisioning, and reporting.
  • Real scripting ability in PowerShell to automate a workflow end to end.
  • Application packaging and deployment experience with tools such as PDQ Deploy, Ivanti, or SCCM, along with solid Windows OS deployment and imaging knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience in operating inside an ITSM platform like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
