About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify new clients and build the Wealth Management client portfolio in the region for clients with more than €2.5 million in assets
- Develop, manage, and personally structure the overall commercial relationship with clients
- Prepare commercial proposals for comprehensive portfolio allocation
- Explain the performance and evolution of managed portfolios
- Represent and promote Belfius Wealth Management internally and externally
- Increase the bank’s market share among VIP clients
- Collaborate with Belfius experts, including Corporate Banking, the Dealing Room, Asset Management, credit specialists, and tax and legal advisers
- Maintain close collaboration with the Corporate Banking teams
- Build trusting and collaborative relationships with branches
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated commercial drive and ability to acquire new clients
- At least five years of successful experience in Private Banking, including three years in Wealth Management or an equivalent field
- Keep up to date with developments in the area of expertise
- Comfortable using digital tools
- Strong internal and external networking skills
- Ability to persuade clients through clear communication
- Febelfin Private Banker certifications (Estate Planning and Investment) already obtained or willingness to obtain them
