About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, update, and enhance Power BI dashboards, ensuring data quality and reliability
- Transform safety data into information and analyses that support management
- Monitor safety events, statistics, indicators, and trends
- Support the translation and interpretation of safety events for different audiences
- Consolidate and analyze data from different units
- Develop and monitor risk matrices
- Support training related to systems, processes, and Occupational Health and Safety
- Participate in meetings and projects with Bekaert and ArcelorMittal, working within a corporate and international agenda
- Support the application of accident investigation methodologies
- Explore the use of Artificial Intelligence to improve processes, analyses, and information management
- Prepare executive reports for shareholders and leadership
- Support the implementation of new systems and solutions for risk management
- Lead strategic projects, such as the Risk Management HUB, from sourcing and evaluating suppliers through solution implementation
- Interact directly with different units and departments to obtain, validate, and analyze information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- English proficiency at an intermediate level or higher, with the ability to communicate daily
- Experience collecting, processing, analyzing, and presenting data and indicators
- Experience using SAP for data inquiry, extraction, or management
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts
- Knowledge of Power BI for dashboard development and updates
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety events reported through eSocial
- Experience with the SAP EH&S module and the Enablon platform
- Advanced Power BI skills, including data modeling and creating measures in DAX
