About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Make an impact on one or more projects or products
- Scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features
- Reduce technical debt across projects or products
- Proactively support other team members
- Follow team processes and deliver a consistent flow of features to production
- Leverage test-driven development to deliver backend systems and user interfaces
- Contribute to APIs, specifications, and data models for frontend and third-party integrations
- Design, implement, and maintain data interactions
- Optimize data operations for performance and scalability
- Ensure data integrity and security
- Design and develop user interfaces based on UX designs and customer needs
- Contribute to functional and non-functional automated testing suites
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizenship or Green Card only; no sponsorship offered
- US Residency for at least the past 3 years
- Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation
- Highly proficient in one or more technologies within the Software Engineering discipline
- Particularly skilled in one or more technologies
- Experience with test-driven development
- Experience developing APIs, specifications, and data models
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data interactions
- Experience optimizing data operations for performance and scalability
- Experience ensuring data integrity and security
- Experience designing and developing user interfaces informed by UX designs
- Understanding of functional and non-functional automated testing suites
- AWS experience, including S3, EC2, Glue, or Lambda (preferred)
- R experience (preferred)
- Professional Databricks/Apache Spark certification(s) (preferred)
- SAS experience (preferred)
